December 2020 Newsletter

Welcome members, cold weather seems to be arriving and just in time.

Our minutes were read from last month and approved. Currently we have 213 members registered.

Treasurer Gail handed out her report for us and answered any questions.

Every December we have an officer from Letchworth Park and this year we had Officer Lessard with us to explain the trails in the park and they look to be the same as last year. Night riding stickers were also processed for those requesting them. You can also call the park office to request a form for them.

Trails were discussed and Tim updated us on the Pavilion trail and the bridge at Pearl Creek that is being re-decked by Eric Miller and Jim Bellamy. Many trails are already marked with others being finished up.

Dennis Murphy will once again be riding in the Pink Ribbon Riders event this coming February in Old Forge. The club will donate to that as we do every year.

Brian Bartron distributed more tickets at the meeting for our February Daily Drawing. The early bird drawing will be at our next meeting Sunday January 3rd. To get your tickets please give Brian a call 716 491 1847.

The Silverlake Sportsmen’s Club had our tables decorated very festively and served us a very nice holiday luncheon. Thank you to them for hosting us.

Trails will open December 23rd if conditions allow. Think snow and ride safe this season.

Merry Christmas to everyone.
