December 2023 Newsletter

Hello all OVSA members as this year ends another soon begins. With that being said as we reflect on the poor season we had last year we look forward to doing what we all love this coming year Snowmobiling!

With the new year approaching we’re gearing up for another winter of grooming, trail maintenance and of course riding.

This month we started our meeting at 11:05 at the Sportmens Club.

We read our previous minutes and they were accepted.

The treasurers report was handed out and any questions were answered.

We are getting ready for our annual February raffle. Tickets have been handed out by Brian Barton and anyone looking for some tickets can reach out to Brian 716 491 1847 or or any member of OVSA.

At our December meeting we had a few special guests from the Park service and State Troopers which was very cool. We rely on them to help police our trails and make sure the sport of snowmobiling stays within the stakes!

We held our Christmas luncheon this month to give thanks to our hard working members that put in the countless hours to help make the club what is it today. Thank you to the Sportsmens Club for a great buffet.

We have been getting trails ready, making upgrades and preparing our equipment for the upcoming season. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we have been meeting at the groomer barn at 6:30 pm to chip away at the list to get equipment ready. There’s a lot of work that has to get done in order to have good trails. We are always looking to add new faces to our group. We have also been working on new bridges.

In other news this month we voted on our slate of officers which didn’t change from last year. we have a good group in our club and it makes times together fun. So far we have 139 members in the club.

Think snow and join where you ride!
