Our fall meeting was brought to order by President Chance at 11:04am.
The minutes from our last meeting we read and approved.
Treasurer Michelle answered any questions on her report and stated that the county has received the annual grant monies and we’re awaiting our share. Our September Raffle hosted by Tom and Jane Gebel was very successful. Thank you Tom and Jane and all our members who helped out with this important fundraiser.
On a sad note it was mentioned that Roger McCabe who has been active on our behalf with NYSSA passed away. His efforts in making snowmobiling in NYS better for everyone will be remembered and appreciated.
New trail routes were talked about due to new property owners. Mike Carlson has a trailer for transporting a wheeler and spoke about a trade. Steve and Gordon also spoke about some trail and bridge items. There is a lot of work to keep our system the best around.
Our yearly safety course will be held Saturday November 22nd 8-4pm at the Warsaw Fire Hall.
Brian Bartron has agreed to host our February Daily Raffle once again and will have tickets available at our November 2nd meeting. Thank you Brian.
OVSA will need to come up with a slate of officers for the November meeting. President Chance stated with his increased work obligations he may not be able to hold the office of President. Thank you for your efforts in helping our club run effectively. Our younger members in the sport will be our future.
Thanks to all our members for making OVSA the organization that it is. Always at the forefront of a safe, family, fun winter sport.
