President Chance welcomed our members today and opened the meeting precisely at 11:05.
The minutes were read from last month’s meeting and approved.
Treasurer Michelle handed out the monthly report for all to go over.
Our trails were open for a few days a short while ago and groomers/grooming was discussed. Our “new to us” Pisten Bully was run with good results and the addition of the larger track cleats will make it even better.
The 180 is back in operation and running good with it’s updated computer. The JD, Tucker and New Holland were out getting their exercise too. We sure wish it was for a lot more hours so we’re all thinking snow. Tuesday and Thursday this week the guys will be meeting at our groomer barn for some track work on the PB. Steve and the guys have put in a lot of hours already.
Jeff Nevinger is in the process of GPS mapping our system which is part of the total Wyoming County trail system. This has to be completed this year for NYS Parks.
We discussed and approved having our annual landowner chicken barbeque this May at the Warsaw Legion Building. The event date will be available next month when landowner reservation cards are mailed.
This month is our annual daily drawing and Brian Bartron has once again done a great job for us. Thank you Brian for all the dedicated hours you have put into this important fundraiser.
We only have a few tickets left and if you would like any please call Brian 716-491-1847.
It is with a sad collective heart that we mention our longtime member Sharon Rissinger has passed away. She and her husband Dale have been hardworking members in our sport for many years and looked forward each year to helping put on our annual antique show.
Next Saturday February 10th a Celebration of Her Life will be held at BW’s Restaurant in Pavilion at 1pm. Our thoughts are with Dale and their family.
Thank you for your support of OVSA and each other.
