September 2023 Newsletter

This was our first meeting to kick off the 2023-2024 sled season and we’re certainly looking forward to a much better year.

VP Nate Merle called the meeting to order at 11:06am and the minutes from last May’s meeting were read and approved.

Our treasurer’s report from Michelle was handed out and questions answered.

The meeting continued with discussion as to what was happening at the NYS Parks division. Management changes at NYSSA has us hoping we’ll still have solid voice for all snowmobilers in NYS.

We need people that really care about our sledding community and aid in the growth of our industry and sport in general. More details will be known in the near future.

Trail work has started and we’ve geared up for brush hogging and trail clean up. Our website and social media platforms will have updates too. Once again we thank our loyal trail volunteers who make sure we have the best trail system possible.

Our September Raffle has begun and we want to thank Jane and Tom Gebel for organizing this big fundraiser for us once again. Also a big thank you to all our members who have assisted in this event.
