February 2023 Newsletter

Hello all members and welcome to the February edition of the meeting. Our meeting was called to order at 11:05.

The minutes from the January meeting were read and approved.

The treasurer’s report was handed out and various items were noted and explained.

Brian Bartron reported that over 906 tickets were sold for our February Daily Raffle. We thanked Brian for his work keeping track of this important and successful fundraiser for us. Thanks to everyone who purchased and sold tickets.

Trail Coordinator Steve reported on the bridge at Boxler’s Farm being in need of work after the creek washed out the bank support. Work is being done on the BR180 as there is a problem with the drive computer directing hydraulics to the tracks. Studs have been ordered for the NH groomer.

Our new Trail Paver unit is over on the Orangeville Center Rd and ready for some work. All we need is snow which we’ve been short changed on so far this winter. We could use some groomer hours to put all of our repairs to the test and have some fun.

The annual NYSSA Forum will be held April 25-26. Steve and Chance have indicated that they are interested in going.

Tim Rosenberg reported that our annual antique sled show will be held September 16th at the Charcoal Corral.

Lastly we discussed our raffle and how they have been such a huge help to our club. The two we currently have for the fall and winter have been successful for us because they are very well organized and supported.

The meeting was called to a close at 12:03

I want to thank everyone for their hard work and drive to help keep our club one of the best in WNY. Think snow and join where you ride!
